Ingredients

- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round baking pans.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs before mixing in milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually combine wet and dry mixtures while gently stirring. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Divide batter into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks. Frost as desired.
