Description
Deliciously soft and rich cookies flavored with Baileys Irish Cream.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semisweet or dark)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the Baileys Irish Cream, mixing until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Then gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients, forming a soft dough.
- Gently add the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop generous portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 350°F and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of espresso powder to the dough.
- These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to one week.
