These delicious chocolate avocado truffles are a healthy twist on a classic treat, combining creamy avocados with rich dark chocolate.
Ingredients

- 2 ripe avocados (about 300g)
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (170g)
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (15g)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey (30ml)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, scoop and mash the ripe avocados until smooth.
- Combine the melted chocolate with the mashed avocado, cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract. Mix until velvety.
- Chill the mixture for 30 minutes in the refrigerator to firm it up.
- Roll the chilled mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
- Coat each truffle in cocoa powder, shredded coconut, or crushed nuts as desired.
Notes
- These truffles can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Feel free to experiment with different coatings like powdered sugar or finely chopped nuts.
