Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture; beat until combined.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined; fold in chopped strawberries and chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft. Cool slightly before serving.
