- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves (garnish)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 to 1 teaspoons red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional)

- Preheat oven to 500°F with a pizza stone or cast iron skillet inside for at least 30 minutes.
- On a floured surface, shape dough into a round. Transfer to a floured peel, parchment, or oiled skillet.
- Spread pizza sauce, top with mozzarella, then layer with pepperoni. Brush crust with olive oil.
- Bake for 8–12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Drizzle hot honey over the baked pizza, garnish with basil, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- To achieve a crispier crust, make sure to preheat the pizza stone or skillet thoroughly.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
