Description

A refreshing and tangy puffed rice chaat made with various chutneys and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons green chutney
  • 3 teaspoons tamarind chutney
  • ½ cup chopped red onions
  • ½ cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies
  • 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro (fresh coriander leaves)
  • ½ cup boiled and cubed potatoes (¼-inch cubes)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala spice mix
  • 2 cups puffed rice (murmura)
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ¼ cup fine sev

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix coriander mint chutney, tamarind chutney, onions, tomatoes, green chilies, coriander leaves, potatoes, salt, Kashmiri red chili powder, and chaat masala powder.
  2. Add puffed rice and lime juice to the bowl and mix the contents of the bowl together.
  3. Transfer immediately in shallow bowls and garnish with fine sev. Serve immediately.

  • This dish is best served fresh and can be customized with additional toppings as per preference.
