Description

A delicious recipe for cheesy pulled beef biscuits perfect for a cozy meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked and shredded beef (such as chuck roast)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Biscuits: Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, evenly spaced apart.
  3. Assemble the Biscuits: Divide the cooked and shredded beef evenly on top of the biscuits. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the beef on each biscuit.
  4. Top with Upper Biscuit Layer: Place a second biscuit on top of each assembled base to form a sandwich, gently pressing down.
  5. Add Topping: Brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over each biscuit.
  6. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
  7. Garnish: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for garnish, if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding a spicy BBQ sauce to the beef before assembling the biscuits.
  • Ensure the beef is tender and well-seasoned for the best taste.
  • If you prefer a gooey cheese texture, use more mozzarella cheese on top.
  • You can substitute cheddar and mozzarella with your favorite cheese blends such as Colby Jack or Pepper Jack.
  • Use a toothpick to hold the biscuit sandwiches together during baking if needed.
