- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

- Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, mix the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy (about 5 minutes). Add flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix until combined. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth (about 7-10 minutes). Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Cook the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Add garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pizza sauce. Mix well and set aside.
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Assemble the Pizza: Roll out the dough to fit a deep dish pizza pan. Press the dough into the pan, ensuring it covers the bottom and sides. Layer half of the mozzarella cheese on the crust. Add the cooked beef mixture, spreading evenly. Top with sliced bell peppers, mushrooms, and remaining cheese. Add a layer of pepperoni slices.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Finish: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes. Let cool slightly before slicing.
