Description
A delicious Korean-style beef stir fry using rib eye steak, marinated in a flavorful sauce.

- 1 1/2 pounds boneless rib eye steak (thinly sliced)
- 1/4 cup coconut aminos
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 3–4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon Korean red pepper paste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
- 4 green onions (thinly sliced)
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds (to garnish)
- cooked rice (to serve)
Instructions
- Place the sliced rib eye steak in a large Ziploc bag.
- In a small bowl, combine the coconut aminos, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, freshly grated ginger, and Korean red pepper paste.
- Add the sauce to the beef in the Ziploc bag and stir to combine. Marinate the meat for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of the toasted sesame oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add half of the marinated meat and arrange it in a single layer in the pan to evenly cook. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Repeat with the remaining oil and meat.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds, and serve over cooked rice.
Notes
- For best flavor, allow the meat to marinate overnight.
- Adjust spice level by increasing or decreasing the amount of Korean red pepper paste.
