Description

Delicious chicken tacos filled with shredded chicken, fresh toppings, and served with lime wedges.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium pan over medium heat, combine shredded chicken, salsa, and taco seasoning. Stir and cook for 5 minutes until heated through.
  2. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  3. Fill each tortilla with a portion of the chicken mixture.
  4. Top with cheese, sour cream, cilantro, tomatoes, jalapeños, and lettuce.
  5. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
