Description

A delicious and easy grilled pizza made on soft French bread with pizza sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf soft french bread
  • 3 cups pizza sauce
  • 23 garlic cloves minced
  • 23 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pkg pepperoni (4050 pepperoni)
  • 2 cups cooked Italian sausage
  • 1 cup olives sliced
  • 1/2 cup green pepper diced
  • 1/2 cup red pepper diced
  • 1/2 cup onion diced
  • to taste Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat grill to lowest flame.
  2. Cut your french bread in half lengthwise, spread the pizza sauce evenly over the french bread. Sprinkle fresh garlic over sauce and then sprinkle cheese.
  3. Add the pepperoni, sausage, olives, peppers and onions.
  4. Place each half french bread onto a large piece of foil and loosely wrap around edges.
  5. Grill over indirect heat for 8-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted. (keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn).
  6. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and serve!

Notes

  • This recipe can be customized with additional toppings like mushrooms or spinach.
  • For a vegetarian option, omit the sausage and pepperoni.
