- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and slice them in half. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.
- In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and maple syrup until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned sprouts on a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Serve warm, drizzling with extra maple syrup if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier flavor, add more red pepper flakes.
- These can be served as a side dish or a main vegetarian option.
