Description

Delicious peanut butter cookies loaded with M&M candies.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (220g) packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter
  • 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2g) salt
  • 1 cup (175g) M&M candies

Instructions

  1. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Stir in peanut butter, then gradually mix in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in M&M candies.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a chewier cookie, do not overbake.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container for up to one week.
